My favourite R+ album is Liebe ist für Alle da - the drums were recorded at Jim Hensons studio and just sound IMMENSE. Schneider is so woefully underrated as a drummer. Hey maybe you could do Ghost - Rats, maybe? Hayden is another amazing yet underrated drummer. Or maybe Ritch Battersby from the Wildhearts? OOH I know what would be a good one - Lord of the Lost, La Bomba! So fun to play and Tobias Mertens (who was the drummer then) is an absolute guitar legend as well as drummer. He actually wrote all his own drum parts for ‘From the Flame into the Fire’! I feel I may have gone off on a tangent 😂

The drumming in the recording is so subtle it’s nice to hear them stand out more. This guy is all over the place in the song, you either have to have a really good memory or the sheet music is a must.
